Classroom News:
September 25, 2018 we are going on our first field trip as first graders to Fort Sutter! We will load the buses at 8:45am and depart the school at 9:00am so please make sure your child is on time to school. Your child should wear their WCS spirit t-shirt and shorts or jeans with comfortable walking shoes. Please prepare a water bottle and sack lunch with your child's name written on them for the trip. If you ordered a sack lunch from the school lunchroom, we will pick them up before we leave. I recommend you put sun screen on your child prior to sending him/her to school on Sept 25. Please do not send sun screen to school with your child. We thank Alex's Mom, Josiah's Mom, Shaelan's Mom, and Rejhan's Mom for volunteering to chaperone our trip! Our students will enjoy several fun hands-on lessons at the fort.
September 28, 2018 our first graders will enjoy rotating through different first grade classrooms to learn how to play different recess games children played in the 1800s here in the USA between 8:40-9:40. We will also enjoy some long ago hands-on learning centers on Sept 28 between 1:35pm to 3:05pm. If you are able to volunteer or donate supplies please click here.

- Kinder-5th Grade - Click HERE to sign up. This year we are inviting our Kindergarten through fifth-grade families to join the event by contributing dessert and drink donations. We would love to see at least 5 desserts and 5 drinks donated per grade level. Desserts are best donated in individual wrappings (ie brownies versus a whole cake). Drinks are best as 2 liters or 12 oz cans.
