Field Trip Chaperone Notes
A field trip chaperone sign up sheet will be made available to parents on our Back to School Night or you can email me if you are interested.
**Confirmed Volunteers please plan to arrive in our classroom 20 minutes prior to class departure time in order to have time to meet your assigned group. All field trip volunteers will need to have current finger prints on file in the WCS office this school year to chaperone off campus trips. Finger printing normally cost about $52 and only needs to be done one time for the entire time your child is enrolled in WCS (K-8)...can be used for WCS trips in 2-8 grades too. You can get more information on finger printing and status of your background check from the WCS office staff. It normally takes two to four weeks for your finger prints and background check to be processed and sent to the WCS office once you complete them. For the children's safety we cannot allow any parent who does not have a completed and approved fingerprint/background check on file in the WCS to go on any of of our off campus field trips.
*Any of the field trips listed below will be cancelled if we are short field trip funds when the date approaches to pay for the trip. You can donate to our field trip fund by using our school PayPal system (info located on WCS web site)...we are hoping each family will donate $65 for their student(s) to cover our field trip cost this school year.
