Classroom News:
Our class is not planning on celebrating Halloween on October 31 during school hours. We will be focusing on sound wave experiments instead...if you would like to help please click here. We will be watching a Magic School Bus video on sound waves plus enjoy a treat and some juice boxes during the movie. Please make sure your children wear their school uniform to school on October 31; no Halloween costumes please.
Please practice double addition facts with your child at home each day to help him/her become fluent. Your child needs to learn double facts 0+0= 0 through 12+12=24. Its fun to practice these facts together when you are driving around town, walking home from school, waiting in a line or doing chores. Practicing will help your child gain confidence and enjoy playing Around the World games in class.
Look what we are learning in first grade!
